Our buyer is having a house inspection today and the septic inspection is Tuesday and the well inspection is in a couple of weeks. Once those are done and he’s ok with the reports we can close. He said we can rent back for an extra month in order for us to find a place so we won’t have to put everything in storage.
We tentatively plan to fly out to Alabama mid March and see what is available and which areas we like. If we don’t find a house that trip at least we’ll know which neighborhoods to look at online. We might have to rent for a short time in order to find the right place.

I miss G man too. Hurry up Greg and get your poop done and get back. Hope you are doing well and staying safe.

No, the realtor said that they didn’t want any contingencies, even though our house has sold and we are waiting until April to close for the tax break. The people who are selling the house are older like us and doing the same thing as us and want a long escrow to take the same tax advantage in April. Their realtor said that our buyer could back out. Their house is listed as pending now.
The plumber is coming out today to do the gray water system, I’ll take pictures.
