Thanks for your service and I agree. And now illegals are coming in and immediately getting vaccinated while the rest of us have to wait and have trouble getting an appointment for the vaccine. Will this get me to the attic, it will be my first time?

Wont take you to the attic. It will take my post to the attic. But guess what, I've been there before and I'll go again so we all can say whats on our minds

My parents were born in this country. My grandparents were born in Hungary. They came to the USA LEGALLY through Ellis Island. Immigrants are welcome, but legally, that is the point!

And then theres the "hidden" or unspoken part, mostly, of W.W.II and how we treated all the asians that were born here,or legally, in this great country of ours. To be placed in a holding community, (nicest way i can put it) for their own protection...right? But dont try to leave unless you had a pass from some higher up.I know all the pros and cons...just wanted to say that as a reminder of what to look out for. Perhaps its not from another coming into our land...its someone who is already here.Okay...i'll stop before i get threatened with all the wind about not being an american, too.I was born here same time elvis was starting to be a big deal.Have a good night.

So sad that todays generation doesn't appreciate the sacrifice of those that gave their all so they could be free to walk around 24/7 with a %$*&$# ipod/cell phone stuck in their ear

I’m 70 and was told in middle school that America would never be conquered from the outside and if it fell it would be from the inside. That teacher knew his stuff.
My mother’s family has been here 200 years. My fathers parents were from Istanbul. They were Christian Armenians that came here escaping the Turkish holocaust. My Armenian grandfather was a professor. My Armenian grandmother came to the US at 18 years old. When she was 65 she took some art lessons and by the time she died at 85 she had had several art shows including the Whitney in New York. She has a piece of her artwork in the Smithsonian and the Yerevan Armenia art museum. She was proud to be an American.
My son married a Costa Rican woman with a large family. They all came in legally and excelled in their work. They love America and are against illegal immigration. Her whole family voted in the last election for the guy who didn’t win. (I’m Trying to avoid the attic stairs) We have to be careful not to put labels and assumptions on people.

I understand but let’s understand the time. I don’t like what happened but let’s understand our country was attacked. Our times today we were attacked by foreign country. Why not think the way we are. Again not attacking your post because what you believe. That’s what America is. And what I believe. Wish that didn’t happen during ww2 I’m a VN vet and proud of being a son of a we2 veteran as well as me being a Veteran of VN war or conflict. It’s about us being there when our country needed us. Again to day I wouldn’t like our country do what they did to the orient people of that time. We had orient shoulders that defended our country that time. My apologies for ranting on. God Bless us all and our Country

Thanks to all those who have served and Thank you for sharing the video, I too have tears. I agree that it needs to be played in certain places daily as a reminder of what America is.

You and I probably chewed the same dirt in Vietnam and I agree with you completely. Immigration without assimilation is an attack.
