Need a 2 section baitcasting rod for around 75 dollars

So, let me start off by saying that I have a total budget of 150-200 dollars. The fuego CT caught my eye and I'm thinking of buying it for 75 dollars on amazon ( im canadian so price might differ a bit for you). That leaves me with 75 to spend on a rod. (p.s. I was thinking of getting the tatula ct but my research told me they are practically the same minus the t-wing system which people seem to be 50-50 on if they like it or not)

I will mainly be fishing in a large river, either from shore or in waders to get a bit more range. I need this set-up to be an all rounder. It's my first baitcaster and I'll be using it for bass, walleye and pike. For transportation reason I do need the rod to be in two sections.

I'm open to any brand suggestions and as I mentioned I"m willing to go up to 200 dollars (US) for my whole set up, if you guys have better reel and rod suggestions in that price range, feel free to name them!

The Fuego CT is a great reel and $75 USD is not a bad price for one.

For a rod check out the Daiwa Arid-x, my buddy has one and really likes it and I have read some other good reviews.

This.

The Aird X is pretty killer deal at ~$50. As is the Daiwa Ardito 3 piece rod. Just grabbed an Ardito earlier this week and paired it up with a Tatula SV to keep in the trunk this summer. Comes with a really nice padded case as well.

You should consider the Daiwa Tatula! I picked one up off Ebay as there prices were significantly better than other options! Little bit of a higher price point but I’ve been amazed by its performance so far. As for rods, I paired it up with an old Abu Garcia MH combo and it’s done the trick.

I know the tatula is one of the most recommended reel in that price range, but as I said in my original post they are practically the same besides the t-wing system and two additional bearings in the handle. People don't seem to think it makes THAT much of a difference and doesnt cast farther. If I had the money to spare, I would probably go for the tatula, but as someone on a budget, I feel like the smart choice is the fuego ct.

Berkley lightning rod is on sale for $30 and has a $10 rebate so it would come out to be $20.

Yeah, I noticed they are a lot less common than spinning rods for some reason.

The reason most people use one-piece rods over two or three is they have a tendency to come apart at the worse time. Usually when they are reeling in a fish. I have a couple of two piece rods and having to constantly align the line guides up to help with casting. They can be bumped out of line very easy. I usually glue them together to solve that problem. I understand the reason you are interested in one which I use to do the same thing until I got reprimanded at work for being late too many times due to fishing. Couldn't help it. Had the fever. lol Now my wife will not let me do it because I was stopping at puddles in the street. hahaha

If you are fishing in a large river, where large pike and walleyes are not uncommon, and your rod will be 7' or shorter, don't buy a two piece rod. Look at what pro's use, one piece rods; because sometimes, you just have to muscle the fish, and you don't want your two piece rod to become a three or four piece rod.
