Hi fellow fishermen and ladies. I'm looking for recommendations for a really good spinning rod that I can use to both bass fishing in lakes in my area, and inshore on the NC coast. I'm not loaded, so I need something I can pair with a Daiwa Fuego 2500 that'll do a good job for both.

Not sure what the "hybrid" thing is about...?
If you mean "usable for fresh AND saltwater".... can't say that it matters..... the fish surely don't care.

Lews makes some real nice spinning rods for a good price, and i picked up a Star Stellar Light for $100 that would be great for fresh and saltwater, it's a really nice rod for 100 bucks too.

Go to Bass Pro Shops, they will have a good selection. Look for something 6-1/2’ - 7’, medium to medium heavy action, but that is something you need to determine.
