You could probably fish, but it could be a little chilly.
Still Iced in in Western Oregon. It sounds like its starting to melt here but there is still 1/2" or more ice on all the trees. Dangerous to go out through door ways might get an Icicle stabbed in head if they are falling off house. I think we have a few more days. Then will flood all the smaller rivers. At least it should get the Spring Chinook moving in Columbia and Willamette Rivers.

Been raining 2 and a half days so far. I think I can launch the boat in the back yard and make it to the river. Only 2 miles away. LOL. Good luck Cueball. Wish you the best on your trip.

Hey Cue. I talked to my neighbor in Flippin Ar. Yesterday and he said it was 12 ° there but there were still float boats and guides out on the White and according to the Arkansas weekly fishing reports, they are catching some nice browns and bows. Just got a text from my brother-in-law over in Horseshoe Bend and they are expecting about 8 inches by the time it quits on Tuesday. He said it was -11° windçhill this morning. He just moved there in October from the Rock island Il. to get away from the cold. He just bought a small lake fishing boat and he was to have his golf cart delivered this week, says he is supposed to be fishing and golfing. Told me, us northerners need to take back our weather. He did say they are to be in the 40's Saturday.
Just go and have fun. Dress warm and stay safe.

So what do you think of global warming now!!!??
I don’t even like those words. I believe in an act of God. We had an ice storm and it snowed a lot last night. We lost power about 5AM this morning. There was a rolling power outage. The temp was 8 with windchill-2. It’s still in the teens today and expected to stay this way through Thursday. I got out all of my winter camping gear and we’ve been in the living room, in front of the fire place all day. The power came back on about 30 minutes ago. Hallelujah! Now I just pray it stays on.

Hack, I hope your power stays on. We lost ours a couple of weeks ago for three hours. We have additional wood heat and I can fire up my whole house generator if need be.

Did you think all that up while resting in your igloo Charlie? 😂

It is supposed to reach 17 degrees this morning with the wind chill will feel like 9*. Ice on my car. Too slippery to fish.
