There's nothing that gets you closer to nature, trying to catch supper for the family. Some women just DO NOT understand how challenging it is sometimes and how hard we try AND what we go through just to feed em. Then but h about what it costs. πŸ€”πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

Wow. I'm not sure my auger would even cut a hole that big.
That guy doesn't look like the one in the first pic though.

Hey saw. It is the same guy after he goes in the Ice fishing Tent with walk in Microwave oven that runs on portable generator. Can thaw out real quick that way. All kinds of technology these days.

Ice fishing would be the word for today. It's snowing with winds to 25 mph & the temperature is 7 degrees with a wind chill of -11.
It's never been that cold here. It's supposed to get to -8 tonight & if the wind is still blowing it will be mighty chilly. This global warming is starting to get on my nerves. I bet the crappie are biting.

Coon.... I've never really believed in all the global warming stuff. I've lived on God's green planet long enough to know weather patterns shift and change from year to year. Out here it seems to happen in 7 year cycles. I certainly understand why it's a joke to you! But out here things have changed for about 10 years now and I'm starting to wonder if things are going to finally get back to normal or not. Anyway, my fishing plans for today are rained out and that's a good thing. Stay warm friend!
