Today I caught my first ever fish.

It’s defiantly one of my favorite experiences in life. Not too many things make me happier than landing a fish and watching it swim away to fight another day.

I remember my first fish in South Carolina. Not trying to out do you but this my story.Had a small two piece rod ,put it together,put on the real , ran the line through the rod to the plastic worm,tosed it out about ten feet, Pow ! 11 # large mouth bass. Still on the wall today.

Congrats, I've been fishing for 30+ years and still get that excited when I pull them in. I also love to see that you caught him on a simple jighead and rubber worm. To many times new fishermen/women are spending to much time on the latest and greatest fishing inventions instead of sticking with the basics.
