Well, my better half and I were going up to Pyramid Lake in Nevada for some Lahanton Cutthroat Fishing from the Bay Area but road conditions going up through Donner Pass near Tahoe will be icy and windy! Not good when pulling an RV. So we opted to stay near home and camp at Del Valle Lake. Del Valle Lake das a good variety of fish to go after like Trout, Striped Bass, Largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie and catfish. I am trying to decide which species to go after! Oh the dilemma. LOL! I'll probably go hunting for crappie, since those are one of the best eating fresh water fish, IMO. We will see! You all have a great Valentine's Day Weekend!!!

Hope you have a good time. So many decisions on what to fish for. In a camper, a weekend with the wife (alone) and a fishing rod. Priceless. Enjoy

Sounds good, Steve :-) You probably have enough fish in the freezer to last until you start fishing again :-)
Just tend to your better half's needs until she gets well enough. You have your priorities right :-)
And all the bass in California breathed a sigh of relief.

Thanks, Fredfish :-) Sorry for the inconvenience of the weather you are having! I do not know if I could live where I have to deal with that much snow. I did live in Caldwell, Idaho where we had the worst winter in 100 years during the 2016/2017 winter season. That was not fun! Especially after moving there from Phoenix, Arizona! LOL!

Yeah that had to be a heck of a shock, compared to Phoenix. Well, have a good time with your bride, and don't forget the pictures!
