Lower Chesapeake bay fishing

I’ve been fishing more than catching in the Chesapeake near cape Charles va.
I have caught some flounder but can’t seem to find a good productive area.
I’ve been using gulp and also squid with limited results . I even tried bacon neat the tunnels and caught 1 keeper.
Anyone care to share ideas or areas I should be checking out? I’d
appreciate any advice

take frozen mullet or small bait fish that has a white belly and use a knife or shears to cut the white skin potion of the belly into stips about 1x3 inches rig on a flounder rig use near deeper rock bars around bridges or any hind of deep humps

Soon to be fleets Bay up the Indian creek hopefully with more then a paddle, any good fish up in the little streams and creeks? What am I expected to catch, what kind of bait., thanks a lot for the help.
