Mademoiselles of the Evening, Part 2

I believe it was early summer of 1970 when we were moving from New Orleans and were spending the night in Houston. We had booked a room in the Holiday Inn across the loop from the Galleria. It had been a long day and we were all tired. For some reason I had to return to the car to retrieve some toy, blanket, or pillow that one of the children had forgotten.

I guess the time was around 10:00 in the evening. I had retrieved the object and was in a hurry to get back to the room and hit the hay. Moving was always exhausting even if all you had done that day was to drive 200 to 300 miles. As I was leaving my car and walking in the dark back across the parking lot, another car pulled up in front of me and stopped. There was a black lady driving and was all alone in the vehicle. I suppose that I was so surprised that I did not get a gool look at her appearance or any details of her or her vehicle.

She stopped and spoke to me with a clear and unmistaken proposition soliciting sex for pay. I explained that even had I been interested this was a bad time. I told her I had my wife and children waiting in the room and I was in a hurry to return. I don’t remember much else of our conversation but when she realized I was a poor prospect, she drove on. I went back to our room but never said a thing about the encounter. Just Sayin.,..RJS

After a really raucous bachelor party (3 hookers) the individual who brought them had passed out. As the only individual who was sober and had a vehicle they "voluntered" me to drive them back to the city. I got home around 3AM. next day my wife asked me why a friend of mine got home at 12 but I didn't get home till 3. I told her I had to drive the hookers back to the city. (obviously I had no "encounters" with these young ladies) she told my friends wife that there where hookers at the party. about 11 am he comes racing up the driveway totally freaking out. He asked me why I told her. I said I have nothing to hide from my wife why shouldn't I tell her where I was? Just sayin (RJ)

You just triggered a memory of mine. While I worked for Humble Oil and Refining Co. we were here in Houston for several weeks going through all the different departrments, and these department heads would take us out to dinner.

Well at one event where there were several different departments all together, they had a big dinner and of course a cocktail hour. Well, someone mentioned why we didn't have to dancing girls for entertainment. Someone one else went out on the streets and brought back two of the poorest excuses of dancing girls I've ever seen.

Actually, they were two amateur hookers from East Texas and looked undernurished, and well short in all departments. Also, they couldn't dance, and it was a little embarrassing, at least to a lot of us.

When this was over, one of the execs said to another, "Lets go" and the other guy said He couldn't! When asked why?
He said he had an erection and could not get up and walk around. Just Sayin...RJS
