I’m retired and am going to start fishing again. I live in weslaco,tx.
Would like to know fishing areas around port isabel, brownsville and up to arroyo city,tx.

Welcome to the Forum, Lots of places to fish around Port Isabel, SPI, &
Arroyo City, but I would get a boat and a buddy to go with you. Good Luck!
Thanks for the reply flyguy! Nowhere to store a boat. Not willing to pay for storage. I live in a retirement village.
There are some piers and docks you can fish off of in port Isabel, south of port Isabel and at the county park in arroyo city. Don’t know if you are able but my answer to the same problem was to get a kayak. I really enjoy it Takes some learning but well worth it.
I had polio in rt. Leg at two years old, ruptured acl in same leg 15 years ago on a job unable to get that repaired plus ankle on same leg gives out and rolls over. Other than that i am in good shape! I appreciate the info, ihave thought about the kayak, i don’t think i can do that. You have a great day.
Thanks again
Dave
Downhill - I run low of fishing buddies during the summer months when the Winter Texans head north. I keep my boat over at Port Isabel and except for a medium grade walk ramp it is fairly accessible. I'd be happy to take you out occasionally. I generally only fish afternoons and fair weather days. (one of the benefits of being able to fish whenever I want to.....lol) Shoot me a PM if you're interested and we'll get together.
