Hey, guys and gals. I just relocated from Austin, Texas to Grand Junction, Colorado. Gonna miss all the bass fishin' in Texas but there are fish in Colorado to pursue and as soon as I get my 6 months residency requirements met I will be out there fishing again. Course it's still winter here but lots of beautiful sunny days to get the fishin' fever going. I also have two granddaughters and three great grand kids ages 9, 7 and four to teach to fish so I will be busy when the weather warms up. Hi to all the western slope members and those here in the Grand Valley. According to the CDW there are limits for Largemouth bass around and no limit on smallmouth so I just gotta go find them. Then I can relearn how to catch trout as I lived here twenty-five years. But the 14 years in Texas spoiled me for bass fishing year round. Never found a liking for ice fishing. Cold weather is for big game hunting. See ya'll around the water.
welcome to fs,Cook
Have fun w the kids!!

Welcome to the stage. As I recall the Green River flows right by or thru Grand Junction - some of the best trout fishing in the west. Am I wrong? We love photos.
