Thanks, amigo. I keep talking about moving elsewhere, but I've been fishing hereabouts for over 50 years, for fishing all year long you can't beat this area.

Good to see you back on the site. Hope all is well after surgery.
Hey XW. We go into the Drs office today for the first checkup since the surgery. Hopefully we'll learn why he chose NOT to reattach the tendon that goes across the top of her shoulder. Really disappointed that he didn't do that. Says if this surgery isn't successful enough he's got to do a shoulder replacement. I wish he could have fixed her up right this time instead of putting her through ANOTHER surgery and LONGER recovery a third time.
Sounds like she needs a 2nd opinion. I don't like it when Dr's don't treat you like people instead of an experiment! They scoped my right shoulder 3 times and it's still not right, but I don't want them to do anything to it again. My fishing buddy next door had the replacement done. He couldn't do anything for quite a while. I'm hoping for the best for her and you! Gary

best guess: the tear in her rotator cuff tendon was too large to close. I have assisted on dozens of shoulder surgeries , and the size of the tear is often underestimated by MRI pre op. I am very sorry to hear that her surgery was not a success though.

I believe you are probly right. However, we were under the belief that if they couldn't reattach HER tendon that they were goin to use a cadaver tendon and reattach it that way instead of a shoulder replacement. That's what they told us anyway.
I don't think you can go to the corner store and get cadaver pieces that will match. Doesn't sound like they were prepared well. Just my opinion. Good luck!!
