Hey Hal, join the club. No body knows the story bout that. Several suspect one thing or another but we don't know for sure.
We frequently don't bother answering their post because rarely, if ever, do they respond back when you answer them.

Those are not actual members, but people web surfing looking for answers to their questions. The FS Digest is this website, the joined date is when it started, and the #of posts is all of our posts since day one.
Saw this is the explanation Admin gave me when I asked.

If y'all want a real concise answer to that - ask admin. I asked and they answered. You want me to look for it and post it? Fred is pretty much right on. Those are folks who are not subscribed.

Musky Hunter was asking the same question about a year ago, and here's what he got - from admin I'm guessing"

1. Syndicated posts get the FS Digest appellation. I am guessing that some of the video content here is syndicated.

2. Anonymous posts also get the FS Digest title. Yes, there is a way to do this and anyone who had that title on their post should know how that works.

I'm still looking for mine.

And here's what Hack got from Admin when he asked:

It's basically forum fodder. Derived via syndication, via API requests, or relayed from digest subscribers who are not registered on the forum and browse it as guests while sending in their requests/posts via feedback form.

Got it? Yeah, me neither.

Sounds bout right to me. That's what y'all have said before anyway.
Still don't like to answer very many of them. If they want to join in and have a conservation, that's fine. But they never answer our responses.

I'm of the opinion that some of the questions are so ridiculous that they can't even be taken seriously...
...what's the best line
...what's the best reel
...what would I use a bait casting reel for

Apparently guru, you have never met a millennial. Believe me those are sincere questions. I've spent the last 4yrs trying to train this generation to Set-up and run Screw Machines. These fishing questions sound like a PHD speaking, compared to what I hear every day. How many times can you explain "Clockwise "and "Counterclockwise "????????

The lack of COMMON knowledge/sense never ceases to amaze me.
