Nice catch is it an easy way to clean cat fish , can cat fish be fired with the skin on ?

Nice Dave, those channels are a tasty fish. My dad never fished but he was always very pleased when I’d bring him some channel cats home from the Delaware river.

Matter of taste.we prefer skin off.but I have a friend who likes fish " bacon"

When I was going to school in Wilmington, NC, we would catch catfish in the Cape River. That river can be dirty. So we would put them in a wire basket for a week floating in the brackish water. They would lose at least a pound but that was some of the best catfish I've ever eaten.
