hi everyone I am a one handed fisherman that also uses a wheelchair and will be glad to pass on and recommend ideas and equipment to help out other non able bodied anglers, if you are or if you know someone who is not able to hunt or fish independently please check out Kemp Lake. kemplake.org it is a honey hole 2o acre lake located 1 hour west of St Louis . we are a non profit. and offer guided accesable fishing to disabled folks

Thank you for that information Leo and welcome to the stage. I know of a few spots here in California that are wheelchair friendly, wish there were more. Probably a lot of folks sitting home wishing they were on the water but it's just too hard to get to. We'd love it if you would post some photos. Sounds like you're doing some good work.

That is really cool your willing to share your information to help others. Thanks Uncle LEO. I know there are a few places in Oregon for people that can't just run through the trees to get to river bank. I will probably go fish there now but I have to do a bunch of paperwork with Fish and Game to get License with the special status. Fishing and Hunting gets harder to accomplish the more I age. I am sure Uncle LEO someone will see your message and hopefully connect with you.
