This is what is occurring in our mobile home park. It contains a wealth of information that can be applied to all levels of government.
This is the first file I have attached, so I hope I got it right.

My grandmother always said that “money is the root of all evil”.

The actual quote from the Bible is:
“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
1 Timothy 6:10 KJV

This is the same kind of thing I ran into while serving on the Township Board here in Lawrence. Each township in Douglas County has a three person board that is elected each four years on a rotating basis. There are no term limits, and I was on the board as Township Clerk for 26 years, having served the final two years of the previous Clerk’s term when he moved. There were four different Trustees (presidents) during my time on the board; three of them were fine. The last one (current) is a crook. It seems all he cares about is how much money he can get for himself at the taxpayers expense. In the two years I served with him as Trustee, he was constantly “stealing” Township money by c***ting on mileage and meals reimbursements. In order to get the other two of us to “share” in his scheme, he offered to have the Township pay for things like new computers, printers, and even internet access for us for
“Township business”. I declined, but the secretary quickly accepted. That was the end of my service to the Township.

Man you did the right thing getting away from that. Coodoos to you Randy.
Hey Randy;
In our park, if we don't succeed at exposing the board, who are also our neighbors, we risk losing our homes while they walk off with a bundle of money. It's tough because it's all managed by property management and there's no paper trail with kickbacks from contractors. All we can do is raise public awareness.
