Penn Battle III surf combo for heavy gamefish?

I was wondering if anyone had experience with the battle 3 surf combo. I’m looking into buying an 8000-10000 size for big fish and sharks down in Florida. The one I’ve had my eye on is the 8000 size with a 10 foot, heavy power, medium-fast action rod. Haven’t heard any reviews on the rod specifically so I thought I’d ask here. Tight lines!

I have a Battle III 8000 on a 12’ St Croix Mojo Surf HMF2 that I really love. I’m yet to tie into anything really large but I’m ready.
I can throw up to 6 ounces a long ways. I just have to be patient.

My son has a smaller penn battle combo I think it’s 4000- 4500 size for inshore near shore use, fluke, stripers , blues . Decent rod terrific reel. I use penn spinfisher. I have one 6500 10’ combo and a 4500 7’ combo and another 4500 on a star aerial med heavy rod . The reels are super the rods are ok they aren’t junk but they are not great but when you buy the combo you’re pretty much getting the rod for free. So for free there pretty damn good.
