Welcome to the forum Kimmy64, I can't help you. I live in Raytown/Kansas City, MO.
But I do have a question. What happens if you catch a beaver?

Welcome to FS Kimmy.
Beaver Lake is one of the clearest lakes I’ve ever fished. Good luck to you!
Enjoy your location Kimmy. We live in the best fishing location. What do you want to catch? There are walleye, 4 kinds of bass, 2 kinds of crappie, record strippers, and monster paddlefish. The strippers are easier to pattern and catch right now. It’s all about time on the water. Enjoy. Tight Lines
Thank you guys! I’m very happy I found this site. Thank you for all that advice about Beaver Lake, I will definitely look into it

Hey K64, I actually fish the east end of the white River system but I am pretty sure you can target the same species as I have with fishing the tailwaters of Bull Shoals catching nice rainbows, browns, cutthroà ts, and some small brookies. If you are targeting trout you need to u-tube (white River Rig) also called three-way rig and use that as a start. Try different color Berkley Power eggs (I like starting with white and florescent yellow and also use pink, orange, green , etc and tip the #6 aberdeen hook with a waxies, corn kerbal, shrimp, or a small piece of night crawler or red worm. I have also had great success with BlueFox Vibrax without hair unfold and silver depending on sunshine or clouds, Acme Kastmaster's in silver or gold, Thomas Bouyant Spoon in brown trout color, or Little Cleo's in silver/blue, gold and silver.
If you fish Beaver or Tablerock lakes you can target large and small mouth bass, crappie, stripers, or walleye, and you would be wise in considering going out with a local guide and see what they do to put you on the fish. It is worth the cost. Talk to the locals and you will also learn a lot, also hit up some local tackle shops as they love to talk.
Good luck and above all have fun and stay safe.

You guys have to stop going after strippers when you are supposed to be fishing.
