Greetings! New to forum. Will be spending month of February looking for place in Longboat Key. Hoping to fish but limited to beach and shore. Any info on places to fish from land, or wading a bit on Bay side would be greatly appreciated. Good luck all!

Welcome to the Forum, mjray, You had best have waders when you wade fish and do the stingray shuffle. Also, check on the red tide in the area, it's good now but it may be coming soon. Last year it was bad, so, maybe it won't be so bad this year. Good luck, catch a biggy! Let us know how you do.
