Well my new loomis NRX rod came today.
Fu(-#!ng broke. Waited 10 days to get it
Called Midway USA. On hold 20 minutes for receptionist to tell me that wait time was 47 minutes.
Sent me a form for return. If it’s in stock they will send me another , if not they will refund my money.
You would think that if a guy was
willing to pay $623.00 for a fishing rod , you could at least talk to a living person about it.
Like I need a hassle.

GRRRR!!!

Holy crap Ben! That rod must feel like a skin taco in your hand at that price! I'm surprised they didn't hand deliver in a limo!

in my world there is no such thing as a 623 dollar rod
seriously tho, i learned from similar experience
too many stories to bother to tell but the only things i buy on line now are things i can't find in a store
if walmart home depot lowes or cabelas dont have it i probably dont need it
good luck with your rod, hope it brings in many fish and good times

I have many rods I’ve bought online. First ever problem.
Let’s see how they handle it.

That really sucks Ben, sorry to hear that happened, hopefully they'll get a new one on the way without a hassle, if these delivery services would just be more careful with peoples packages this wouldn't have happened.

Broke 2 ft up from the end of handle. That had to take a heck of a lot of pressure.
Happens I guess.

A truly mournful photo Ben. At least it happened in the winter? I've never dealt with Midway, so no reassurances to pass along.

I think I would contact the shipping company about it. I’m sure it wasn’t broken when it left the store. JMO...🐟on
