I have been reading for some time. It looks like everyone is very help full, and I will try to do the same. fish for steel head Siletz river trout in local streams and lakes. I dont pretend to know much but I sure love to fish ! I have recently lost my son chris age 33 and I am trying to learn to enjoy some time some how and tight lines seem to ease my pain.

Welcome to the Stage Jon, and I'm so sorry for your loss. Fishing is excellent therapy, especially if it's something you shared with your son. Good luck and Tight Lines.

Hey Jon,

I am so sorry to hear about your son. I was just in Silverton to see the reservoir a few days ago. I see its Electric Only. I would enjoy fishing sometime with boat. I am about 20 Minutes to N Fk. I am set up to Salmon Fish pretty soon this Spring. I would like to fish Siletz sometime too. PM me if you feel like sometime. I am in fishing mode of my lifetime and not going to skip many fishing opportunities forever.

Lets get fishing sometime when you feel like it.

So sorry Jon, I recently lost an uncle that lived a long life but am sure your pain is much deeper. Fishing is definitely good therapy.

Jon... won't even pretend that I know your pain but, I do know that the company of good people is powerful medicine. Hit Jeremy up for a fishing trip. He's good people for sure.

Very sorry for your loss, Jon. I can’t imagine your pain, but hope we can at least help a little bit with the fishing. There are lots of good people on the Stage who are very knowledgeable and are willing to help. Good luck!
