Welcome to the Forum, sorry I can't help you.
I guess you talking about trout. Bishop is almost the hub of trout fishing on the East Side of the Sierra Nevada. Lots of lakes and streams. If you are in the area just check out the local sporting good stores. Or just type in Fishing Bishop Ca. and you will have all the information you want.

https://www.bishopvisitor.com/activities/fishing/The site above has some pretty good info. You'll have to wait till the end of April, as the season is closed till then.
I have fished Eastern Sierra's for 50+ years. From Lone Pine to Lake Topaz there are literally hundreds of great oppertunities mostly for trout. Bishop is a good place to start and the local bait stores usually can point you toward the best spots at the time. You won't be disappointed and boy is it ever beautiful all along 395. One of my favorite spots is along the upper Owens river near Benton Crossing. Be sure to check fishing Regs as every body of water has different rules. Good luck, I know you will have fun.

I live on the West side of the Sierra's by Yosemite so we go over Tioga Pass all summer and love fishing from Bridgeport to Bishop. Great fishing
