Are you sure we aren't talking of the same man? My Dad was great on pulling jokes especially April Fool's jokes. In all the years he and Mom were married, he got her every time. and I only knew of one time my dad did not get a joke immediately. It was hard to put one over on him and I have a nephew the same way, but his mother got one over on him the day of the inauguration; however when she was telling me about it, I sort of 'beat' her to the punch line! Since it was political, I will say no more!
