Little bit. Thanks for asking. Iโ€™ll let her know you asked.
She says thanks. She might try sleeping in the recliner tonight.

Morning all. 41 and creeping up to 45. Kinda cloudy but at least it's not snowing. Plum wouldn't it work better if you used your Lincoln Logs instead of the erector set to build the garage.?

I've heard of people using gray water for irrigation, and having grown up with a septic system I know it's a good idea, but this is the first time I heard of a building code for it.

I'll be grinding sausage as soon a I finish breakfast. One batch of breakfast, sage sausage and one batch of Italian. I use a pork shoulder with whatever fat is in it and I agree it sometimes seems to need more fat. Just put a touch of oil in the pan so it doesn't dry out when I fry it.

Boston butts are what I use also.

I brought the bytt home yesterday and broke it down. Portioned for 2# Italian and 4# breakfast. Went out to my herb garden and picked what I needed mixed in the seasoning and let it sit overnight to blesh the flavors, then ground it this morning. Test test came back A1.

Got it. We have a septic system. Being a city boy most of my life, I'm learning. I never heard the term gray water before. Our washing machine is drained into our yard. It makes sense to use the water for plants. My water just muddies up my yard. I will have to drain it away from a deck, if I can ever get someone to build it.

We had a French drain installed around our house in Anderson (Redding) CA to remove rainwater from pooling up. The guy used his trencher after checking the grade, put in smaller rock to bed the tubing. He installed 6โ€ dia. perforated pipe around the house then solid tubing out to the trees and โ€œY-edโ€™ to trees ending with more perforated tubing.
He glued strips of white matting over the perforated holes to prevent soil from filling the pipe and back filled with gravel. The result did the trick, no pooling anywhere near the house even with heavy rains and the runoff irrigated many fruit & shade trees. I think it cost us about $1000 to $1500.
