It happened about that fast, my wife was fatigued, weak, had trouble breathing so I called an ambulance yesterday afternoon and after some test, scans etc. They found she had blood clots that traveled from her legs and lodged in her lungs right where her breathing tube splits into both lungs. Her o2 levels were 83 % so today they did surgery to remove as much clot as they could and blood thinners will take care of the rest
She got out of surgery at 4 o'clock Houston time and Doc said she did great and she's breathing betterThat was the worst night ever. She called as I was posting this sounds rough, but the most wonderful sound to my ears. Wont get to see her till she's released and that my friends sux to the max cause it might not be till Monday
Last night reminded me of Tom Petty's song
The waiting is the hardest part........

You handled it Cam. You stepped up when she needed you. Stay busy if you can. It will help pass the time. All the best to Betty. Hopefully, she gets home soon to you.

Yes they are, then you have to wait in the parking lot during surgery for a call from the doc!! Then go home and wait some more till she can call when she wakes up, then wait some more days till they release her, hopefully I get see her Monday! And that's what a month it seems like
But at least shes doing good so far
Thanks Gray

Glad you didn't procrastinate. Your quick action probabily saved your wifes life. She needs rest so the short time you'll be apart will be good for her. For what it's worth my prayers are with the both of you.

I found out that if you “screw up “ enough times she’ll tell you to just let her do the laundry and dishes. Lol.

Yep you definitely don’t want to get “fired”.
You just have to be good at other stuff so she keeps you around. 😁
