Hey G welcome to the stage. Don't live near you so can't help with where. Where around Sac do you live.
Still early for the crappie right now but it shouldn't be real long for them to start pickin up. Specially with all this warm weather we're gonna start havin.
Hope the weather changes and we can start getting the rain and snow we need. Good luck and tight lines.

Saw you hit that nail on the head. Woke up again to sunny skies. If we don't get some weather all the reservoirs will be ponds by the 4th of July.
Oh KG... Stony Gorge has some of the best crappie fishing in the state. Springtime and flooded timber is the tocket to good eats.

I'm going to New Melones this weekend.
I'll throw out a jig a few times and let you know if anything seems interested.

Camanche Lake is not far from you and loaded with crappie. It has lots of underwater cover they like. Lake Berryessa is another good choice especially for big ones. Of coarse a boat is a must. If the warm weather we are having keeps up fishing should get better and better.

The Sierra snow pack is the life blood to our water supply. We wish for lots of snow! 20 feet or better!!!!
