Hi i live in Wisconsin i fish on Lake Puckaway
Year round now. I need to know when the fish bite when ice fishing and what jigs to use or live bait. I have heard out here that the fish are not biting but we may get some snow tomorrow any help appreciated
Welcome. I love good cheese. Raspberry Bellavitano from Satori cheese company is one of my favorites and it is Cow from Wisconsin.

Welcome to the Forum, Kay. If you have 4" of ice you should be good to go. Good Luck!

You’re in a great fishing area.
Have you tried any ice jigs tipped with spikes (live maggots)?
Another good bait for me has been small minnows, really small.
When you get a chance, go to Sportsman’s resort and bait shop in Markesan, if it’s still there. Ask them what’s productive. Tight lines.

We use live shiners for bass!
Last Saturday, my buddy & I caught more than 30 bass - the biggest at 5-9 🎉

Hello Kay, Welcome to the forum. I live in the West Bend area but don't ice fish. My fingers and toes were abused by the cold when I was a kid and can't take it now. I'm interested in the Wolf Chain that you're on though, when the ice goes out.
