Did you earn interest on the money you had the state put away for you “in leu” of paying you? Simple yes or no again.
I don’t “assume” anything. I know how PERS works and I know who pays state disabilities. And they don’t have to be a “social security disability” to be tax funded. Maybe some “research” would be a good thing for you to do.

That is why i said if your neutral than so am I. You have a double standard. You can google or go to a library to find answers to all your non neutral now (all the sudden) questioning. You still don't get it dude. Who cares where I worked. I don't lie. It doesn't matter where anyone works. You would really find out if you researched but that wouldn't give you the thrill you obviously do by harassing someone. Your still inaccurate when you say I am paid by tax payers. You could have the same thing I do but you won't spend your effort learning what it is instead of playing games. Like I said before the statement about morning entertainment is only what a bully would think or say. Don't worry none of your buddies or you paid me or will ever pay me. The place I worked was fee based (not tax based). It always was. That is also NOT who pays me currently. It is NOT PERS. If and when I ever get any PERS it is NOT TAX money either for the reason I just said. Taxes do not pay the wages of the Agency I worked for for 25 years. The money I receive is not from any government or taxes. You really could read up on it. Are you so bored the only thing you have to do is torment Fishing Stage Members?

You just said your income is PERS. Seriously? You don’t remember just telling us all that? Good grief. Public employee retirement system is PERS. All PERS recipients are employees of federal, state or local government. All of which are tax funded. Your telling all of us you are the only one in the entire country who has worked for one of theses agencies and is not getting a tax funded retirement? Any disability granted by one of these agencies is tax funded. First you worked for the state of Oregon for 20 years and now you say you worked for a different company than the state of Oregon for “25” years and your PERS retirement is not public employee retirement system. What do the letters PERS stand for with your retirement then? I’ve been warned about you but you are right. It’s entertainment for me. 😆😆. It baffles me to run into someone like you that says things and contradicts the very things you say in the sentence. You’re unique dude. And quite entertaining to say the least. To avoid “torment” refrain from reading. Pretty simple. See if you can do it. Don’t respond. We all know you can’t resist but it’s in your best interest to just get a life and move on. Just so you understand. “All U.S. tax payers don’t pay taxes on a state funded disability. Local or state disabilities are paid by “us” tax payers in the local you’re collecting from. Therefore “ALL U.S.” and the local “us” are NOT exactly the same. I’m shocked, with your, self proclaimed, high intellect, you weren’t aware of that. When I lived in Oregon, and still operate a business there, I DO, in fact, pay for your disability AND the portion of your PERS check outside of the 6% you had them hold back for you. I wasn’t born yesterday dude! Those accounts you donate to while working for the state draw interest and are matched by the state. If they didn’t only a fool would participate. Anything above the, measly, 6% you apply is tax funded. Your research will explain that to you. YOU said you worked for the state of Oregon I didn’t. YOU said you’re collecting a disability I didn’t. Was that not true? I’m just going by what you’ve told us in the past. 🤷‍♂️

I did my research as you required. If what you’ve told us all is true (questionable) then you are, in fact getting paid by the state of Oregon, through Oregon taxes for your disability AND your PERS retirement. You invested a small percentage of your pay check while working and it accrued interest and is being matched by the state of Oregon. The interest and state-matched funds are all collected taxes from Oregon tax payers. I guess that means I DO pay you and will continue to do so as long as I pay taxes in Oregon. Glad to help. I don’t get a penny from any disabilities or tax funded retirement. You are getting, anywhere from $50.00 to $1200.00 a week depending on your claim for disability. It’s in the Oregon law for disability. You can find it as easily as I did. Now am I smarter? You get your full donation back as well as tax funded interest. Same with PERS. Depending on which tier you fall under you could, very well, be getting more retired than you did working. Depends on when your starting date was. If your started prior to 1996 you’re tier one. That means you get more retired than you did working. I have a client collecting a PERS check that’s $1800.00/ month more than she made working. Plus she gets free medical for life. I’ll bet you hopped on that wagon as well. Right? Again, glad to help. There’s a reason some folks like Oregon and want to stay. They’re getting a free ride on the gravy train. I might have stayed as well had I done what you did but I just couldn’t feel good about myself when I looked around at all the people struggling there knowing they were paying for my fishing trips and everything else I had like you do.
