I fish saltwater and i do a combination of casting and bait fishing. i’d prefer it to be compacted, my first ever rod was and it’s a lot easier to sneak into places. if there are any cons to get a compacted rod, i’ll settle for a decent non compacted one. i’d prefer if it was anywhere from $60-100
