Tony and I talked on the phone yesterday and made arrangements to go fishing tomorrow at 1:00 pm. It should be interesting, we have never met in person, only on the stage and over the phone. It will be my first time fishing down here this year. If things go well, we will send pictures. That,,,, definitely will be a challenge for me but maybe Tony knows how. But, he is a newbie to the stage. We'll see what happens. Wish us luck!

Enjoy the time out with a new friend fly and good luck!!!

Iowa Farmer, Sir, I recently spent a month in your town but was unable to cast a line due to work constraints. I've been to red rock on 2 occasions but again, no casting. Do you have wipers near you?

They are on the DNR fishing report for Lake Mcbride here, but I have never targeted them. Put a few in my pond, have only caught one 8 incher so far.

How 'bout you keep it and don't let it get on east me? I'd really appreciate it.

Well, we got skunked! We tried structure, we tried the grass, we tried the mangroves and a nice pool area that always produces at least a cat or a ray (oh yes, I forgot, Leo did catch a little sting ray) with no luck. I've thought about it today and I've never seen the tide that low. We fished around the fuel dock and there were barnacle pods clear out of the water by a foot or so. If we had a shovel or a hatchet with us we could have knocked some down and probably picked up a couple sheepsheads. Oh well, we didn't drown and we didn't even get very wet in spite of taking a couple green ones over the bow - and tomorrow is another day!
