Okuma celilo vs st croix and more expensive rods

I have an ultra light 6’6 okuma celilo rod paired with a bg1500 reel. I’m very happy with the sensitivity and casting distance, and It’s handled 18+ inch trout well, but I was wondering if upgrading to a st croix avid or other “high end” rods would be worth the $150+ cost

I have a 7' ( I think it's 7') Okuma Celilo and I use it for trout and panfish. Great pole.

I love my St. Croix rods but have to say, if you like what you have stick with it; you already made the investment and if what you have makes you happy, it is unlikely the additional investment is going to make you a lot happier.

It really depends on your personal preference. And of course how much you are willing to spend.
I really like the high end equipment.
Is it necessary ? No
Will it catch you more fish? Maybe , depends on how you use it
Does it make it funnier ? For me yes.
Only one way to find out for sure
