Well,,,,,,,,,,, they call SPI, "Paradise". We are in a "Winter Storm Watch", we had 50 MPH wind with white caps within the boat slips. It's snowing like he!! in Austin, TX. with a couple of inches on the ground. It's 51* here, with a wind chill of 38*. It feels like home.

Flyguy: We heard you were headed down to SPI and wanted to welcome you with weather you appreciate. Think what it is like in Minnesota?

I'll bet there are thousands of midget snowmen all over Texas as kids had a ball out in the once in a decade snow fall. Just Sayin...RJS

Flyguy, you needed to unhook the tow strap that was attached to your MN weather before you left! 😃

I'll bet there is nobody in their swimsuits laying on the beach trying to get a tan.

There was a young couple from Cuba that came in for just Sat. night, he had a job interview someplace around here. I wonder what they thought of this weather. I didn't see them before they left yesterday.

Maybe that is why it took me 3 1/2 days instead of the usually 2 1/2 days.

Flyguy: I was wondering when you were going to report there were white caps on your cup of coffee! Ha! When it gets cold in the Valley it seems to be exaggerated, not on purpose but just becausde it is unusual. Welcome to South Texas. I expect with the snow reaching almost all the way to Houston, there were short snowmen all over Texas when the kids got out and had fun in the snowfall, which is so rare for them here. Just Sayin....RJS
