The day went well. He saw friends and went to morning service. Beautiful area in the hills with a lake surrounded by woods. Looks ideal for bass. Almost wanted to check in with a problem so I can stay there and fish.

That's ironic to me Greg, one of the lakes I fish now I discovered when in rehab. We used to do a trail walk after dinner,in the woods around the property. The trail went by a lake that looked Bassy to me so I asked if we could fish, and the councillor said ok. I had the wife bring 2 spinning rods and my tackle box on her Friday night dinner visit. Saturday night after dinner I taught one of the female patients how to fish topwater. I caught 2 on a Hula Popper, she caught her 1st Bass ever on a Jitterbug. And the rest is history.....

Sounds great Fish. The guy that runs this place has a home on the property with cabins for the guys. Most come out of prison. Some exceptions. The property is surrounded by hills and has this lake (Miracle Lake). They also have a gym, volleyball court, chapel, laundry room, a full machine shop, walking trails, a full kitchen and cafeteria. All of this and fishing too. Sign me up please.

Very nice but strict rules and Bible based. We are in the "Bible belt" here. You are expected to work while there. Everyone has their assigned duties.
