I had a bunch of those. Never used them until I started fishing flounder in the surf. Now with fresh water I use them all the time. You snuck in on me Fred while I finished my sudoku puzzle at breakfast.

I've been using them for 30 years. I hardly use split shot anymore.

Good eye Lee. Those do look like tungsten.
I agree with sensitivity. They Telegraph like a jackhammer compared to lead.
I have a bunch of lead I don’t use much anymore since I started using tungsten.
The bobber stop is the way to go when
pegging these. Tooth pick works but are hard to remove after your done and tungsten is too expensive to throw away.

Ben, check out Karl's bait and tackle online, you can get a legit. 1 month free membership and tungsten weights are under $4, all their other prices are amazing too and free shipping, i ended up joining for a year and it was totally worth it, but after your month is up you don't have to pay nothing

Just got lucky Lee, finished reading my overnight replies, went to Newest topics and saw only Mike's post was there. I figured by the time I typed my reply, someone else would beat me to it. Maybe I should pick up a Powerball ticket LOL!

Sliding bullet weights. I rig them above a bead ahead of a leader. I’ve never pegged one. Not even when using POWER BAIT.

Bullet powerbait. I have some. I actually use the large pencil lead ( hollow solder type lead ) then can make any size want. I usually put on main line above a swivel with a bead or corky. same effect as bullet weights. They are great because fish only have wind or rod tension when they nibble bite or swallow. I use sliding lead in ALL fishing accept on charter boats in ocean when rods are supplied by captain or boat.
