It's Saturday at 4:30 am. Wife woke me up coughing. So, I stay up. Mid 30s and sunny knuckleheads. Working 7 hrs this pm.

Here's one for you Do-It Yourself, Fix-It Guys - What do men and tile have in common? If you lay them right the first time, you can walk all over them the rest of your life.

Have a good one clones. You too Mr. OZ of KC. Go forth and fish.

Well,,,,,, Good Mornin' Greg and the rest of you fellas. Back home it's going to hang around 23*. Here it is 48* and 65* later on. It's supposed to start raining tonight and rain all day tomorrow here. Oh, well, we are still organizing and unpacking, and there a football game or two the watch this weekend I still have the cargo carrier on the top of the car to unpack and take off. That will be a pain in the butt. The condo is very nice, it's the first time in this one. It is right on the Laguna Madre and it has a balcony on which one may drink beer on, ya. We have a lighted fishing pier to fish off of but I haven't had time to fish yet. I'll try to send some pictures, (?????????) when I catch some fish, and also some pictures of the view.

Absolutely. Hopefully, no lingering effects from the concussion. Give her our best from FS.

Just take that seriously. A concussion in a gymnastics comp kept my grand daughter out of the gym for almost two months. This was right after she won the silver medal overall in PA at level 6.

Good morning all, 21° here, going up to low 30°s and sunny. Glad to here your wife's better Doug. Concussions vary a lot, I had a bad one from a motorcycle accident, 35yrs ago. Was out of work for 2months, had some balance issues for a year. Can't wait for some pictures Fly!

Thanks for asking, Lee. The trip down was really tough on her. We Made about 630 miles the first day, which was too much. The second day she had it after about 500 miles. She couldn't go another inch. On the last day, it was only about 450 miles. But she is still trying to recuperate.

I woke up this morning and saw a big sand bar island out in front of the fishing pier, about 50 yds. out. It must be low tide. I'll take some pictures in due time.

We have to go get groceries now and quit eating out.

SPI has a pop. of 2800, and it has 66 bars and restaurants, and they all do well. It's a cheap place in which to eat out. You can buy a can of Bush lite at Clayton's for a buck. Tell me anywhere in the US that you can do that.

Oh, that is not a good thing, Fly. In MN., it's three and out. We had a 2-time state wrestling champion, that got one concussion in football, one in wrestling, and the third came during a basketball game during Phy, Ed. He was done, and he also lost his scholarship to UNI. They get a lot of concussions while playing soccer.

Had a landscaping client once, asked me to remove a rusty old storage shed from his back yard. Put it in the back of my truck and hauled it away. Started thinking, take it to the dump and pay 10 bucks to dump it, or stop at the scrap yard on the way home. Got 6 bucks for the steel, stopped and got a 6 pack on the way home.
27* and going to 41 with lots of su. No fish yesterday but a least I got a line in the water and checked out a new pond. Hsve a good day all.

I still have some more metal to haul off.
I called two junk hauling companies and both quoted $400 to $700 to haul off the junk. I was just trying to save myself some time with all of the packing inside of the house that we have to do.
I can get it all in my pickup, the neighbor said that he will help me with the heavy items. $55 to dump it and it will be done with.
Living in a rural area I put a lot of things out by the road with a free sign on it and it’s gone in a couple of days.

Morning peoples,
3:15 am here. 72 for the high today.
I got $7.20 for my scrap metal, at least it’s out of the yard.
Have a good one, enjoy your day.

That didn’t even pay for the gas. But like you said, it’s out of your yard.
72 sounds nice 👍.
