The pond I fish at only stocked catfish, green sunfish and wide mouth bass.

Well T, there's got to be something living in there for the stocked fish to eat! Get a minnow trap and some stale bread, crumble it up in the trap, and put it in the water. I bet you get some.

I don't think anyone would stock a Lake with gamefish,if there was no food source for said fish. There are some type of shiners,minnows,dace,or something in every body of potable water, everywhere.
