When I said that in front of my wife she didn't think it was so funny.
Not the first time won't be the last.
I hope.

Actually Lynny was laughing her butt off too. She says you were just waiting for someone to ask the question and I took the bait. π
They have closed that hooters.
[quote=plumbob]Who remembers the TV guide that used to come in the Sunday morning paper?
or for that matter when we used to get a Sunday morning paper delivered to the front door and when you did it only cost $.25

Iβm only going to show you one more time.
Not
We have 180 channels and most of the time there is nothing worth watching. I only keep it to watch college sports
Still have a "TV Guide" in the Friday edition of the Medford Mail Tribune, our local rag, along with events, concerts, club meetings, classes to be had, movie reviews, whatever the editorial staff deems worthy in the "Sports Highlights you don't want to miss ".....all bundled in the "Tempo Magazine" in the Friday paper.
Guess the Rogue Valley is "retro- unique" now, huh ?
Of course, if you have cable, the "guide" is a button on the remote that shows you the hundreds of offerings on an easy to read grid, six channels at a time, more button pushes and you can check "next Thursday at 3am, the movie is....., starring......., runs from 2:45-4:30, rated PG for language"......all you can ask for......except the crossword, loved by my Aunt Marge and my Dad. (But usually more informative and accurate, than the hard-copy).
Your newspaper just got lazy or didn't want to pay the "rights" fees.
With all the crap on TV these days, I miss those 3-4 channels with wholesome shows and the national anthem ar he end of their day!

Also remember one in the evening paper for the night time shows.
Why do i ask? Because here i sit flicking the remote repeatedly thru way to many channels. Just to see what is on the 3 main channels spread out so far on this TV menu the battery is going to need replacing.
Download the free TVGuide app.
I scan the major channels for evening content then go to the Hallmark channel to watch something.
