Let me tell you a story! Years ago I was district manager of Louisiana for a pharmaceutical company. We would often have my sales meetings at Toledo Bend and also go fishing. One of my salesmen wasn't a particularly good fisherman, and kept throwing his lures up into the trees and getting hung up, or catching a bass.

it got so none of of the other salemen wanted to fish with him at first, but when they realized that he was either hanging up or catching a bass, that the bass were in amongst the brush. So, everone began to catch more fish even if they hung up.

My recommendation is to have more lures, because you are going to lose some! Just Sayin...RJS

We fish at midlake near Milam TX . Just north of hwy 21 that crosses to Many La.
Love fishing the chicken coop for crappie during spring. Great bass and catfishing also out of Holly Park marina
