FISHING FEATS STATE OF MISSOURI

Also in January, Brian Holiday of Fordland broke Tyler Halley’s record and became a state-record holder after catching a 2-pound, 3-ounce yellow perch from Bull Shoals Lake. Learn more at mdc.mo.gov/newsroom/webster-county-angler-breaks-days-old-record-yellow-perch.

2 pound 3 ounce yellow perch is knocking on the door of the world record. Nice job. I didn’t catch any state records last year. In 2019 I caught a 29 and 1/2” squawfish. That was the Washington state record at that time. I turned it in for $8.00. Lol.

Good morning Jwid, where is Ironton,MO.? I'm from Raytown, MO. I'm just about 5 miles from KC Chiefs Stadium. Maybe we can go fishing sometime.

Go Chiefs. Wish they could have won the junior varsity game.

Ironton is opposite side of state. 90 miles south of St. Louis.
