I’m sure many on this site are both avid hunters and fisherman, but I’m curious that if you had to choose between the two, what would it be and why. I always felt it an unfair question but in my older years have easily made my decision. Let’s hear yours.

I love both. With a bum knee and being on disability...im leaning toward fishing. For more than one reason. Buddies got old that I hunted with. hunting locally has sucked more and more. I have quads and Jeeps but no fun by yourself. Elk is a group thing.

it's too hard to hunt now
land owners either want a lotta money for a lease or the don't want you on their land

Well livin in California, the choice would be easy, fishin. They got so many gun laws and restrictions that it's hard to go huntin here anymore. It's hard to even buy ammunition anymore.
NOW, if I still lived in Texas, IDK which I would choose. Probly would still be fishin cause I could do it year round and havin a boat really helps you to enjoy more opportunities.

Saw, gotta agree on the ammo. Went to Cabelas the other day and they literally had NOTHING in the ammo department.

Our Walmart doesn't even sell ammo anymore. I think that may even be nation wide.

Isn't the AMMO shortage from the same ol scare tactics every time there is a guy like what happens in 16 days? I know NOONE will be at my door for them but a bunch of folks are hypnotized that it is real. I never believe it nor will I. Ammo is short here too but it is temporary. I just don't believe things when they are as bogus as the source of info. Consider Source.

They used to. I think some companies are trying to make a statement or don't want insurance etc...or it is after on site shootings

Ammo may be in short supply, but Walmart stopped carrying ammo awhile back. They don't sell it any more.
