What are these little bubbles. Do you use them. What is your favorite kind to use. How do you use it. What do you fish for with them. Are these good to start a kid off fishing with. Unscramble this and pack some in your cooler for a long day of fishing. NASDHCWI.

Traditional bobbers, however I prefer slip bobbers. Have used them for everything from panfish, walleyes and steelhead. Always nice to have several sandwicheS to keep up your concentration

Mornin Mike,
Those bobbers have started thousands of fishing careers. Make sure to pack a sandwich when taking those kids out fishin’
Slip bobbers may be the best low cost innovation in my lifetime, though.

Pack of 10? Now i know why they sell them that way. Always found 1 or 2 on the shore line or floating along while out on the water. Never have had the need to buy one. I guess boaters just can't get in to retrieve them.

Really like the ones that i see moving against the tide and wonder what is still attached. Never been able to re hook a fish that way. How about you guys?

While fishing at a power plant lake one night my youngest son had a light up bobber on and he hooked into something that broke his line.

After that we could see the bobber swimming around, my Uncle said hey there goes your fish.
And then he would laugh needless to say my son would say a few things and my Uncle would just laugh more and I just turned away and tried not to laugh out loud.

Those lil bobbers work great for kids and adults. When useing a small worm or a lighter bait like marshmallow and meal worm.the white side is heavier. There for rig it up so the white side is facing up towards your rod tip. Once you cast it out, the bobber will roll over leaving the red side up. With the slightest nibble the bobber will roll over and expose the white. It acts like a strike indicator. And you know what to do next!!!

Thanks egg. It must be the spring or something. I never realized they are not balanced. I usually use a bobber stop.

A slip bobber and bobber stops work better if you want your bait deeper in the water. These lil red n white ones are great to about 3'.
