Alabama was a 19 point favorite over Notre Dame. The Irish lost by 17. So should I (an Irish fan) feel good about that? Honestly, I said on here a couple weeks ago, I did not think ND deserved to be in the playoff based on how poorly they played their last game against Clemson. Cincinnati played well against Georgia, they were undefeated, and I think they deserved a shot at the title over anyone else.
I watched the Cinn/Geo game and I thought Cinncinati controlled that game and certainly more than held their own. I think eventually the college playoffs will go to 8 teams. Teams like Cincy will have a chance to get in then. ND had a nice season but Alabama is so impressive against everyone. Ohio State vs. Alabama may be a good game but I still give the edge to 'Bama.

Thanks, BB, it's been a long time coming.
Yes, kudos are in order to the Cyclones. While not an alum, I do root for the Ducks....I rooted, they were to respond by rallying.... they did not.
Not used to seeing the Ducks get their a$$'s handed to 'em, but y'all did so. Thought it was kinda cool that the two quarterbacks had met playing each other as crosstown rivals in high school, gone to far-flung from home colleges, and return to face off in their hometown with a national audience. Cool fate, huh ?
Wish I could say "good game", but as a Duck fan...it wasn't. Congrats!
