Got the first project done this year. It has aged for quite a while. The soft close glides on the chest of drawers turned into quick slam, dealer sent replacements but I had to install. Not too difficult, but between the new knee, arthritis and trifocals it became more of a challenge. One down, 357,854 to go!

12 drawers. Thats a lot of glides to change. You need to get busy if you got that many left. LOL.

All done. Not hard, most of the holes lined up just a matter of switching them out.

But you got Angels looking over your shoulder there. Don't see a problem at all.

We are believers in Angels as well.

I do too. We have a few Amish made mission style oak pieces. Didn't spring for quarter sawn, but still love it.

Congrats! Those slides can be finicky. You do know that itโ€™s impossible to get to the end of the list.
Iโ€™m in the kitchen business. Years ago I put in a new kitchen for the wife and was slow to finish it. The couch always looked better than the tools after a days work. One night I came home from work to find my wife at the kitchen table with the yellow pages open. She looked at me and said โ€œIโ€™m not mad but which one of these businesses should I call to finish my kitchen?โ€ My response- give me two weeks. We agreed on one. Three nights later it was done. Wives, our love and inspiration!!

Congratulations Iowa. The chest looks beautiful and I know the wifeโ€™s proud of you. Only 364 more projects to go. ๐Ÿ˜ข

That is a beautiful chest, Farmer. That is a good days work on New Years Day. I don't know if I like your new avatar, you look hungover, and I know you don't indulge.

That's almost a 1,000 a day. Well you're not going to have time to fish this year. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿคฏ

I don't know Fly, I think it's the Pontoon Captain look. Looks like the man in charge!

I've been so enamored by Spiritof27's thought I would join in. That's what a week of fishing in your state does to me.

That hat was given to me by the family when I bought the pontoon, and has become a tradition. I forgot it in 2019, and had the worst fishing ever. COINCIDENCE?? I think not!
