I HAVE SEARCHED THE INTERNET FOR DAYS LOOKING FOR SOME PLACE TO CRAPPIE FISH IN FEBUARY, I WOULD BE GREATFUL FOR ANY INFO . I HAVE LOOKED AT GUIDES AND THE GUIDES IN MISSISSIPPI ,WANT A MONTHS PAY FOR BTWO DAYS .

Welcome Robert, Might want to look at Weiss lake in Northern Alabama, it's been known as the Crappie capitol of the US for quite some time. We used to go down on New Years and troll for them, always put a limit in the box.

Thanks Fred, last trip to Weiss. This was a half day trip just before my son went off to boot camp.

You're welcome Ivey, I believe I remember seeing this picture shortly after I joined the Stage, maybe in the spring. Before I learned of your prowess with Smalljaw down there on Tims Ford. I know if I ever get to fish in Tennessee, I'll be looking you up!

Please do, maybe we could take a ride to Pickwick. But 2 days ago there was a 7pound 2ounce Smallie caught just right around the corner from my house.

That's an absolutely beautiful Smallie Ivey. There's so many legendary lakes in the central/southern part of the country, I wish I could fish them all at least once. I will make an effort to do that once retirement arrives.

Brookville Indiana has some good crappie. Fish by the trees sticking up out of the water. Right now the pool is down and they are at the mouth of the inlets.

Reelfoot lake is another really good spot for Crappie, that's where Bill Dance films some of his shows on Crappie fishing.
