I've been fishing Mcswain for about 5 years it's my go to lake I have always done good there not saying everyone does the guys next to me yesterday only got 1 and I should had landed my limit, got to be willing to change and ask I used power bait eggs and dough I've got almost all colors including rainbow and ALWAYS use garlic scent on the bait

Do you always fish the same place and is it spray on garlic? I have red, orange, rainbow, and red power eggs. Also have orange and pink mouse tails, caught one on mouse tails but got hung up and broke the line. Suppose to rain most of next week maybe the week after I will try to meet up with you again.

Nice catch, Hal! Those look like Mt. Lassen Trout like what they stock here in the East Bay Lakes around where I live in Livermore, CA. If they are pink meat like salmon, they probably are. Very good eating trout!
