Thank you for adding me to the group. I'm in lower Michigan just south of Houghton Lake. Lots of small lakes nearby but I enjoy trolling Saginaw bay on the east side for walleye most of all. Planning a trip to Medira Beach in June and soaking up info to do some surf fishing brought me to this site. Merry Christmas to you all.

Is that Madeira Beach you're going to? Just over the causeway from Seminole Fla.
My in-laws used to have a place in Seminole. Sorry I haven't been down there in 30+years. It is a beautiful place though.

Medira Beach is sw of Tampa along the gulf coast. We're going on a half day party charter out of St. John's Pass but hopefully try some surf fishing for pompano or jig around the piers. Thx, Mark

Actually northwest of Tampa bay, there's a few good seafood restaurants on the north side of Johns Pass. Probably all takeout now. I believe that sit down dining is prohibited at this time.

I've been to skippers a couple times in the past. Sad to hear they closed. Good food. I'm a big fan of fried oysters. 110 a gallon in Michigan. Waiting to come down in June lol.

I like fried or bbq in shell oyster then add italian dressing
