Morning all, 48 here, weather turning south about 11 today,40 MPH wind gusts. Sounds like we will get rain then freezing rain, probably no snow here. Supposed to be a balmy 3 degrees here Christmas morning. Not looking forward to work today, phone has been ringing off the wall, with WIMP questions....Where Is My Package. The Postal system has been overwhelmed with packages this year, both people ordering online and sending packages they normally deliver in person. Our distribution center for Iowa which is on the smaller side has had a backlog of around 200 semi trailers of parcels for 2 weeks. Other plants have over 500 trailers on their lots. Most customers are not very understanding about our situation. Nation wide we hired 50,000 seasonal workers, a record, but machines can only run so fast. As Postmaster, I will not be allowed to leave tomorrow until all packages possible are delivered, so I may run into Randy before I'm done. Hopefully we can get the system cleared out before New Year's eve. Remember, be kind to your mailman, he's doing the best he can! Sorry for the rambling, things get kinda intense this time of year.

Good Morning all, 22°here and mostly sunny,going to high 40°s later. Christmas day looks like an internet day -WWW, Wet, Warm, and Windy, supposed to hit 60°, but blowing up to 50mph, with heavy rain.

Good morning. The wife and I hope to get the kayaks out today for a little R and F (fishing of course). It’s going to be 50 degrees, sunny and light wind. Wish us luck’

Good morning all, very merry Christmas to everyone, we're having daughter abd granddaughter here for Christmas day, been a long year not seeing them.
Supposed to be 40 on the day and night before and after in low 20s.
Planned to hunt tomorrow as it will be low 40s and see a buck out there this morning, hope he comes looking again tomorrow.
