Yes that's about it on a snapping turtle I've never ate a leatherback I hear they are good but they are a lot smaller. They are a pain to clean lol. But like I said we always power boil them an with a good clean pair of gloves pick the meat off the bone. roll it in flour fried in butter with salt and pepper or whatever seasoning you like and eat it as soon as it comes out of the skillet
