I'm new to the area and new to saltwater fishing. Trying Apache Pier today.

Been some good talk about Apache Pier. That was in early fall. Hope its still good. Try to fish right in or a little before the breakers. Use shrimp if you can. Got to top of page and put in Myrtle Beach in the search section.

Well guys I think the season may be over. Spend hours up and down the pier. Fed the craps and the bird thieves. Birds were aggressive. Better trying to catch fish than watch TV.

We have had luck with live bloodworms - available at the piers and at Wal-mart. Caught a nice mess of whiting last weekend on the Garden City pier.
